Good evening, everyone. My name is WangHaili. I am an outgoing girl who
likes reading and traveling. It’s really my great honor to stand here and give everyone a short speech. People say, youth is fire which is ignited by passion. People say, youth is a chapter of the poem which is written by stories. The color of youth is bright and we make most use of our ardor to draw the scenes to the canvas of painting. But we may be confused and lose our direction in the youth time. Under this, youth slips away. Roman Roland says, life doesn’t issue return ticket and can never come back once sets out. So we should seize the short youth time and try our best to pursue our ideal. Do what should we do and let our youth without regret. When we refer to ideal, we will realize the importance of ideal. Ideal is the beacon,. Without ideal, we will lose the firm direction. Without direction, we will lose our life. According to this, every one of us should establish our own ideal .so that we have the direction of straggle to the future. Tolstoy tells us, we should have the life objective from the whole life to the second. So we should cherish every moment and form our systematic objective. Youth is the prime time. We have strong body and energy and can sense the meaning of life under the guide of ideal. As we know, the ideal is plentiful and reality is skinny. But we should believe that we will become stronger and stronger in the way to pursue ideal. Future is unknown,. If we hope our future is nice, we should enrich our youth time and find the direction of future. Let us use our youth to pursue our ideal and make our future wonderful. So we will have gorgeous life.

My great pleasure to share my dream with you today. my dream is to become a teacher.... As the whole world has its boundaries, limits and freedom coexist in our life. I don’t expect complete freedom, which is impossible. I simply have a dream that supports my life. I dream that one day, I could escape from the deep sea of thick schoolbooks and lead my own life. With my favorite fictions, I lie freely on the green grass, smelling the spring, listening to the wind singing, breathing the fresh and cool air and dissolve my soul in nature at last. Simple and short enjoyment can bring me great satisfaction. I dream that one day the adults could throw their prejudice of comic and cartoon away. Everyone has a dream， it is everybody yearning. But the man without a dream of the life will be empty. But dreams are always with the thought of advance and change. Begin to remember， I have a dream. I hope I have money， people always ask：
＂boy， this is a great dream， have money， what are you going to do？＂ ＂ I＇m going to buy chocolate.＂＂ if you have a lot of money？＂ ＂ I will buy a lot of chocolate.＂＂
if you have money to burn？＂ ＂ I＇ll buy chocolate factory.＂ Indeed when we， innocent， with a kind heart， happineand joy is a constant movement. When I was young， I have a dream. I hope you can become a kite， floating in the sky， and then slowly fell down. Then in the green meadow like playing with companion， often chasing the white clouds in the sky， let the flap with laughter， do the multicolored multicoloured dream. Read， I have a dream. I hope to have a basketball；
when I had time for basketball， but also want a football；
when I play football， volleyball became my pursuit. I remember when I was young；
my mother often described the beauty of the grasslands through this poem：
“tian cang cang， ye mang mang，feng chui cao di xian niu yang”. it means in English “Clear skies， sweeping plains， the grass bowing before the wind， revealing grazing horses and sheep.” I could recite this even before entering primary school.
16years ago， my mother visited one of the grassland of Inner Mongolia. She said that no words could describe it’s stunning natural charm. With her description firmly printed on my mind I began to long for a tour to the grassland.
Sadly， this marvelous image that I had in my mind changed completely when my mum and I visited the grassland a year ago. As soon as we got there， I couldn’t believe my eyes. What was in front of me was just a piece of land with loosely grown grass. In the far distance I saw only a couple of horses feeding lazily. I asked my mother：
“Where is the lush， tall grass？” As puzzled as me， she said nothing. I was shocked to see the differences between the grassland in my dream and what was in front of me.
On the way home， I thought a lot and tried to find answers.
Now I am old enough to bring awareness to other people and share my dream for the grasslands. Overgrazing and extensive farming have ruined the grassland and so taken away the charm of our homeland. But I am confident that one day the grasslands will recover and its true wealth and beauty will be realized as long as everybody gives his contribution to restore our homeland.
