一.单元教学内容
1.本单元的地位与作用:首先,五年级的学生在四年级第二学期时已经学习过“can i help you? what can i do for you? i want … i want to buy… ”等语言,那么本单元的教学内容以“购物”为话题,要求学生们在新的语言环境中复习这些语句,同时学习如何购买商品及接待顾客等内容。
2.教学内容:通过解读《课标》,我们知道,语言知识和语言技能都是语言能力的组成部分,不仅教学目标包括知识的掌握和技能的形成,而教学内容也包括掌握语言知识的学习和技能的培养。因此本单元的教学内容可确定如下:
话题:知道本单元的教学内容都是以“购物”为主题;
功能:能够在适当情境中听、说、读、写下列句子,
请求观看商品及回答的语句:can i have a look at this lamp? can you show me those trousers? yes, here you are.
询问价格及回答的句子:how much is it? it’s 85 yuan. how much are the sandals? they’re 65 yuan.
售货员与顾客之间的问答: can i help you? i want a towel. sure ,here you are. what can i do for you? i want to buy walkman.

二.单元教学目标
依据《课程标准》,基础教育阶段英语课程的总体目标是培养学生的.综合语运用能力。而听说读写等语言技能是综合语言运用能力的重要基础,通过对《课程标准》中二级总体目标及二级技能目标的理解,我把本单元的三维目标确定如下;
1.知识与技能:通过图片或实物的提示,在老师的帮助下,复习数字类的单词,拓展服饰类的名词,学习常见的表示日用品的名词,并能在较真情境中灵活运用词语;能根据简单的拼读规律,读出单词,如:lamp,soup,tape,等,并掌握这些单词的发音,能够正确说唱3个chants,熟悉元音字母组合的发音,辅字母w的发音,ty字母组合的发音,要求发音准确清晰。学习并掌握有关“购物”的句子,并能与他人进行交流。
2.过程与方法:通过任务型活动,“表演对话”、“商品调查”、“制作购物计划”等小组活动,巩固操练本单元的功能句型,并培养学生之间相互合作的能力,培养学生注意观察生活中的与所学内容相关的事物,主动地将英语语言知识运用到日常生活中。
3.情感态度与价值观:能够形成良好的礼貌习惯,提高服务于他人的意识,能够根据自己喜好、有目的地选择商品,能够初步了解本单元所涉及的购物及接待习惯,并在情景中主动实践,能够按英语国家的习惯,对别人的请求与感谢做出恰当的反应。
三.单元教学重难点
1.本单元的教学内容都与“购物”有关,重点是学习与此有关的日常用品的词汇及语言,要求学生能够听说读写这些词汇及句子,并能在真实情境中会恰当使用这些语言进行对话。因此,我会在教学中设置与此有关的情境让学生充分理解这些语言,通过创设各种游戏活动和“任务”,培养学生运用语言的能力;
2.我校是一所边远校,外地生较多,特别刚转学来的学生,学习基础比较差,对于他们来说,掌握语言有一定困难。特别重点语句:can i have a look at this lamp? can you show me those trousers?等,在这里我采用“滚雪球式”游戏活动来提高他们熟练说语言的能力;另外,学生们的语言运用能力还有待提高,这需要教师精心设置不同的情境,给学生创造更多的语言运用机会。
四.单元课时安排
我们都知道,《新版小学英语》是“以话题为纲,以交际功能为主线,融合语言结构,逐步引导学生运用英语完成有实际目的的任务”为编写思路的,其整套教材采用了“教案式”的编排体例。本单元共有6课,每课内容占一课时,在单元的最后一部分是一个有趣的小故事,做为本单元的复习内容。其中单课lesson25leeson27lesson29是三篇情境不同的小对话,要求学生在理解对话内容的基础上,掌握有关“购物”的语言,教师可以设置不同层次的练习,如根据课文内容补全句子,模仿课文编对话等活动,帮助学生理解课文并练习语言。双课内容包括:just practise,巩固并操练本课重点句型,同时拓展与此有关的词汇;just write, 要求学生能正确书写这些单词,let’s act,设置情境运用语言; let’s read and chant,通过学习儿歌掌握读音规律。
